It initially incorporated 20% of the homes for very low income residents, and was financed with private activity tax excempt bonds. It is now conventionally financed with all market rate rent.
Previously, Claremont principals participated as principals in the development, building, management and ownership of over 1,000 units of multi-family rentals in Fremont, Livermore, and Pleasant Hill, California, all incorporating a 20% very low income component.
